Why USAcademy

Not a consulting firm.
A strategic admissions school.

Four fundamental reasons that set us apart from every other advisor on the market, and why students who work with us get accepted more often, receive more scholarships, and land on campus with more confidence.

“

“Our team didn't read about the system. They lived it.”

Every advisor at USAcademy is a graduate of a top American or Canadian university. They went through the same process you're about to go through.

Data, not guesswork

Every decision, from which schools to which essay to when to apply, is based on real data from hundreds of applications we've worked on, not on a "gut feeling."

We don't disappear after admission

Strategy and choosing schools

Without Stage 1, the whole track is a shot in the dark. We don't start working on an essay or the SAT until we truly understand the person in front of us: their values, strengths, fears, family budget, and long-term goals. Only then do we build a strategic list of schools that fits you and no one else.

  • 2–3 in-depth conversations with a senior strategy advisor
  • Smart Profiling questionnaire with 10+ questions
  • Review of matriculation exams, grades, and achievements
  • A list of 10–15 schools (Reach/Match/Safety)
  • Recommendations report with risk analysis
  • A detailed annual timeline

  • FAFSA / CSS Profile / ISFAA filing
  • Finding scholarships dedicated to Israelis

Interviews, recommenders, and personal preparation

An admission interview is a single moment that can make or break your application. We don't leave it to luck: recorded mock interviews with professional feedback on body language, tone, and content. At the same time, we work with your recommenders to get the best possible recommendation from them.

  • Recorded mock interviews
  • Feedback on body language, tone, and content
  • A personal 60-second Elevator Pitch
  • The STAR method for your personal story
  • Advice on choosing recommenders

Frequently Asked Questions

Exactly what you asked: before you ask

The most common questions from students and parents before they start the journey.

The earlier, the better. Building a strong application is a 12–18 month process. 11th graders are at the ideal point. 12th graders can still do it, but at an intensive pace. For soldiers about to be discharged, we recommend starting in your last year of service. Even if you feel it's "too late," one conversation is worth it to find out.

Absolutely. The first conversation is exactly for figuring out whether it's right for you. We're not trying to sell you anything. We're helping you make a decision. The SAT alone opens the doors to every university in Israel and around the world, so even if you decide to study in Israel, the process is worth it.

Yes. Most of our students didn't come in with perfect English. Our average SAT improvement is +180 points, and we've seen students who started low reach scores that open doors to top universities. It's the method that matters, not the starting point.

It depends entirely on the school and the scholarship. 92% of our graduates receive an admission offer that includes a scholarship, and some reduce their cost by tens of thousands of dollars a year. In Stage 04, we go over a net cost simulation for each university with you, so you know in advance exactly what you're signing up for.

Parents are important partners, especially with the financial and logistical side. We hold regular parent meetings, provide progress reports, and answer every question. But the student is the one who leads the process, and we help them develop independence and maturity along the way.

Four fundamental differences: (1) Our team studied at top universities themselves. (2) Our SAT course is included in the complete track ; with others, you'd have to study on your own or pay thousands of shekels for an outside course. (3) Our guidance continues after admission : housing, banking, visa, community. (4) Our methodology is data-driven, not based on gut feeling.

Absolutely. We have a dedicated Transfer track for students who started their degree in Israel or abroad and want to transfer to an American school. The process is somewhat different from that of a first-time applicant, with unique timelines and requirements that we specialize in.

A personal call of about an hour, free and with no obligation. We'll get to know you, understand your goals and profile, explain exactly how our process works, and at the end you'll get an initial map of your path. If we decide to move forward, great. If not, at least you'll leave with a clear direction.

Your next step

Why not take the chance
instead of regretting it a few years from now?

We'd love to get to know you and understand where you're coming from and where you want to go. A personal consultation call, free and with no obligation, and by the end of the call you'll have a clear roadmap to your admission in the U.S.
